TSA

The Transportation Security Administration has mandates for US flight training.
Review TSA requirements CAREFULLY. Required documentation must be submitted and processed before flight training. Failure to follow TSA procedures EXACTLY as outlined will result in unnecessary delays.

NON-US CITIZENS must first verify their country of origin and complete fingerprinting and photo ID process with TSA.  Log on to the Alien Flight Student Program website.  https://www.flightschoolcandidates.gov 

M-1 VISA

Hawaii Flight Academy is a SEVIS approved international school. We sponsor the M-1 VISA.  Get approved by TSA first then begin the M-1VISA process by contacting a Hawaii Flight Academy Designated School Official.

FAA 3rd Class Medical

If you can not pass at least a FAA 3rd Class Medical exam you will not be allowed to solo the airplane which means you will not get a license. Be sure you are fit enough prior to initiating all the paperwork or relocating to Hawaii. Medical Examiner
